Jenna's Story
Jenna is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Korea and a Master of Health Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto.
Fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish, Jenna brings a rich multicultural perspective to her work. With a background as an Early Childhood Education Assistant and a love for working with children, she occasionally brings joy to little ones as a children’s birthday party princess in her spare time. Jenna takes a holistic and neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, considering not only speech and language challenges but also their social, psychological, and academic impacts.
As both an immigrant and a neurodivergent individual, she deeply understands the influence of cultural differences and multilingualism on communication and identity. Her personal experiences inspire her to provide the kind of understanding and support she wishes she had as a child. Outside of work, Jenna loves animals and shares her home with her adorable dog, Teemo, who clients might occasionally meet at the clinic. She also enjoys crocheting and practicing yoga in her free time.
