Art Therapy & Counselling
At Kidztales, our Art Therapy and Counselling (Psychotherapy) services provide children and youth with a safe, supportive space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Using developmentally appropriate, child-centred approaches, our therapists help children build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and improve overall well-being.
Art Therapy
Art Therapy uses creative expression to help children safely explore their feelings, build emotional awareness, and develop coping skills in a gentle, developmentally appropriate way. Through guided art-making and play-based interaction, children can express thoughts and emotions that may be hard to put into words, while building confidence, regulation, and a stronger sense of self.
*Art Therapy focuses on the creative process rather than artistic skill or the final product. Art supplies are provided.

Counselling
Counselling (Psychotherapy) provides a safe, supportive space where children and youth can talk through their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained therapist. Through developmentally appropriate conversation, play, and guided strategies, the therapist helps children better understand their emotions, build healthy coping skills, and navigate challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
In addition to direct support for kids, parents also have the opportunity to receive support sessions with professional guidance - so parents leave feeling emotionally supported, empowered, and more confident in nurturing their loved ones.
