Irene's Story
Irene is an Ontario Certified Teacher in Canada. Her teaching qualifications include: Basic Qualification in Elementary and Intermediate grades (K-Gr.10). She also has additional qualifications in Teaching English Language Learners and Reading I.
Irene currently works at an elementary school in Toronto District School Board. (TDSB). Prior to working in TDSB elementary schools, Irene has taught various student groups in language academies in Toronto, Canada and Seocho, South Korea.
Irene’s journey as an educator began with the combination of love for children and interest in language and linguistics. She studied English and Spanish Literature, and further obtained Master of Teaching at University of Toronto - Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She also has a TESOL certificate, qualifying her as an English Instructor within and outside of Canada.
Irene is fluent in Korean and English. As an educator, she strives to help children excel and thrive academically, while also helping individuals foster a growth mindset.
